I graduated LSU with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, with a major in International Trade & Finance and a minor in Economics. Out of college, I worked in Houston and Chicago consulting for companies like Shell, BP and NASA. Thereafter, I returned to Louisiana and obtained my Juris Doctorate in 2006. The school system needs to focus on the key indicators of success and invest the future of our children. This means spending money in the right places, like on enrichment programs. Additionally, we need to attract and retain the best teaching talent in the state. Our teachers are the front lines in the fight for better education. Let's put them in a position to succeed.
